THE EMAIL written by Marj Vincent, a NADAC Judge. The has a more
detailed explanation of the classes and how it is run CLICK

Here are some brief facts
about the new combo class:
1.
For the weekend, there will be four combo classes offered.
This means that each exhibitor can use only TWO of the combo
classes to attempt a gamble Q. If
you are entered for only one day, you can elect to try for the gamble in
each combo class in which you are entered.
If you are entered in all four combo classes, you must pick the two
classes in which you are going to attempt the gamble Q.
2.
When you check-in, which EVERYONE must do, you will be given gamble
tickets that you will “cash in” (more about how below) for the combo
classes in which you want to attempt the gamble.
If you are entered in both combo classes on both days, you will be
given two tickets. If you are
entered in two combo classes on only one day, you will also be given two
tickets.
3.
After you walk each combo class, and BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS, if
you want to attempt the gamble for a Q, you must “cash in” your ticket
by giving it to the gate steward’s assistant, who will record your
request on a separate sheet listing the class entries.
Before the class begins, this sheet will be given to the scorers.
4.
I know, I know, what if you run at different levels in gamblers and
regular? You will have to
choose which Q you want to attempt. If
you are in open gamblers and elite regular, in order to attempt a gamble
Q, you will have to enter an open combo class. So, if you are entered in all four combo classes, you can
enter in two open combo classes and two elite combo classes and spend your
gamble chips in the open combo classes.
And yes, that means that you can enter in different levels in the
combo class on the same day….

Please be patient! Change is never fun for anyone, least of all for trial
organizers, trial secretaries and trial scorers. If you have questions, contact me and I will do the best I
can to clear them up.
